How to book, how to pay and what's worth knowing about arriving on the island.

Booking conditions

  1. 1Get in touch

    Tell us your dates, how many you are and what you'd like to do. We'll prepare a tailor-made proposal, with no obligation.

  2. 230% deposit

    To confirm your booking, a deposit of 30% of the total trip value is required.

  3. 3Balance up to 21 days before

    The remaining amount must be settled up to 21 days before the arrival date, except in exceptional situations previously agreed between both parties.

  4. 4Confirmation

    Once payment is received, we'll send your booking confirmation and all the information you need for your trip.

Cancellations
Cancellations made up to 21 days before the arrival date may be carried out at no additional cost, with the amount paid refunded according to the conditions agreed at the time of booking.

For cancellations made after this deadline, cancellation costs may apply, depending on the services already booked and confirmed with our partners.

We recommend taking out travel insurance covering possible cancellations, date changes or unforeseen events.

Tourist tax

Charged by the immigration authorities at the airport. It is not included in São Tomé Surf Travel's services.

CSTthe country's only mobile network

SIM cards

CST is the national operator and sells physical cards only. There is no eSIM.

Where to buy one

  • At the airport on arrival (when available)
  • At the official CST shop in the city centre

Money and payments

The currency is the Dobra (STN), but euros are accepted in many hotels and restaurants. Bring some cash for small expenses.

  • Not every place accepts them
